East Africa's luxury property market rarely reaches public listings — the best beachfront leaseholds and northern-circuit estates move through private introductions. Barafu Luxe connects members with licensed local agents and investment counsel to explore what's genuinely available.
A note on ownership
Foreign nationals cannot own land outright on mainland Tanzania — land is held by the state, with access structured through long-term leaseholds or Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) derivative rights. Zanzibar operates under separate, more accessible rules via ZIPA-approved developments. Barafu Luxe is a concierge and introduction service, not a licensed broker or law firm — every purchase is conducted through independent, licensed Tanzanian legal counsel and registered agents that we introduce you to.
